NIKOS ADAMANTIADIS

Born in Athens in 1934, Nikos Adamantiadis started his insurance career in 1954 at Canellopoulos- Adamantiadis; from 1974 till 2018, he served as CEO and Chairman of the Board.

An eminent member of the insurance market in Greece and abroad, he has held various leading positions and memberships in Insurance Societies and Organizations, including President of the Hellenic Association of Lloyd’s Brokers’ Representatives (1968-70), President of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies (1974-76 & 1981-85), BoD Chairman of the Greek Institute for Insurance Education (2007-10), President of the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) (1994-96).

He has also published numerous studies and articles on insurance, economic and educational topics both in the Greek and foreign press, as well as six books on insurance.
Beyond his insurance ranks, he has also served as a member on the Board of Directors of several business societies, as well as non-profit Organisations.

Nikos Adamantiadis studied Law, Economics and Social Sciences in the University of Athens, followed by International Law in The Hague.
